The significant investment furthers the rapid expansion of Influencer.com and cultivates strong relationships with local talents

Influencer.com, the global leader in influencer marketing, has today announced the opening of its new Manchester office as it expands its UK-based operations, along with the appointment of Olivia Thomasson as a Client Partner.

With this new base, the company plans to establish a long-term presence in Manchester, helping to better service clients in the local area, as well as global agencies and advertisers. Having built strong business relationships with Manchester-based Pretty Little Thing, BoohooMan, Wavemaker North, and Media Agency Group, Influencer.com is knowledgeable about the regional business landscape and eagerly anticipates working with other renowned brands.

On a course to grow by 450% this year, Influencer.com expects that this substantial investment will positively impact the local economy as dozens of new roles will be created, including roles such as Paid Media Managers, Client Service Leads, Creator Relationship Managers and Creative Strategists. Additionally, the company will be investing in the local community by running local mentoring and apprentice opportunities, as well as continuing its commitment to focus on diversity in its work, creators, and staff.

As one of the first hires, Olivia Thomasson joins Influencer.com from Social Chain and Mob Kitchen as a Client Partner, reporting directly to John-Paul James, Vice-President of Business Development. She will be tasked with responding to large clients briefs, RFIs, and RFPs, proactively seeking new business opportunities and leading on pitches to high profile prospects and key clients.

“This office opening was strategic not only because it has a wealth of local talent that can be developed, but also because Manchester has a thriving tech scene and is home to enviable brands with global footprints,’’ says John-Paul James, Vice-President of Business Development. “Our new office provides us with exciting growth opportunities, and we are equally thrilled to bring on someone with Olivia's skills and expertise."

Impact Studio Drop #4: Creative freedom

Creators should be considered an extension of your brand, reaching and building connections with your target audience. But how should this partnership be navigated? How much freedom should brands give creators? And how much should they lean on their creative and storytelling skills to better engage with an audience, vs. protecting their brand through strict guidelines and prescriptive briefs...
