Influencer has announced the appointment of Danny Crutchley as creative strategist.

Crutchley will oversee Influencer’s creative team and will working closely with Influencer CEO Ben Jeffries, CVO (and world-renowned YouTuber and creator) Caspar Lee and head of client services Nik Speller.

In a joint statement Jeffries and Lee said: “We are so proud of the creative campaigns that the Influencer team has delivered over the past year, and we are excited to bring Danny on board to propel these even further. Danny’s proven experience in similar roles will be invaluable as Influencer continues to champion a new era of creativity within the influencer marketing industry."

Crutchley brings a wealth of creative experience to the role, having previously held senior creative positions at EX.CO (formerly Playbuzz), Native and Bauer Media. While in his most recent role at EX.CO, he was responsible for overseeing all commercial partnerships from ideation through delivery.

He commented: “All it took was one conversation about Influencer’s principles, values and vision, and I jumped at the chance to join the team. Their infectious commitment to creativity and culture is reflected in their approach to delivering exceptional work for their network of clients and world class talent. It’s not often you’re given the opportunity to help forge a new path in creative growth, so I’m excited to join as creative strategist and be a part of the next chapter in creative success."

Crutchley’s appointment follows the £3 million ($3.6million) Series A funding that Influencer received in September from Puma Private Equity. The company announced it will use the funding to build out its team of industry-leading experts and double its headcount by the end of the year, as well as driving new innovations to its technology platform.

Influencer is also in the process of opening its first US office in New York, led by CEO Ben Jeffries, with expansion planned to the West Coast over the course of the year.
