As part of an ongoing global growth strategy that has seen a number of senior regional hires, Influencer, a data-led, global influencer marketing business continues to bolster its team by announcing the appointments of Rachel Powney as Global VP of Marketing and Ram Kurvakat as VP of Software Engineering.

Rachel Powney joins the company from Unruly and possesses an unparalleled level of expertise in the media and advertising technology industry. With over 20-years at leading organisations, such as Unruly, OpenX, and AOL, Rachel will be reporting directly to CEO Ben Jeffries to lead all global marketing efforts for Influencer. She will help shape the company’s marketing strategy to drive effective brand reach, partnerships, acquisition and customer engagement.

Ram Kurvakat brings extensive experience of over 20 years in team building and navigating innovative software engineering, making him a valuable addition to the team at Influencer. Having held notable positions at Microsoft, Amazon, and Bulb, Ram's appointment marks a significant milestone in the company's journey towards strategic growth. His commitment to Influencer's People Power, Platform Power focus is a testament to his dedication towards driving the company's vision forward.

Collaborating closely with Rafael Franco, Influencer's CPO, Ram will be instrumental in building the company's industry-leading engineering strategy. Together, they will further develop Influencer's tech product offering and enhance the company's overall market presence.

This news follows Influencer’s recent appointment of regional commercial leads Luke Barnes President EMEA, Jenny Penich SVP Commercial North America and Michael Pekhazis VP of Client Services earlier in the year. They mark the company’s focus on levelling up across all departments, especially tech and client delivery.

On the appointment of Rachel and Ram, CEO and Co-founder Ben Jeffries said: “The addition of these two highly experienced professionals to our team is a significant milestone for us. With their immense expertise across Marketing and Tech, we look forward to having them onboard as we accelerate our growth. These appointments mark Influencer’s projection into the wider global market, as well as cementing our commitment to platform power and people power by bringing some of the industry’s best leaders and tech experts to our team.”
