Creator content will become a new layer of Brand Authority in AI search

Fast Company spoke to Influencer's CEO, Ben Jeffries, about the importance of brands establishing a Creator-Led AEO strategy.

As generative search models like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI overviews replace traditional blue links, the way consumers make buying decisions has fundamentally changed.

In a recent feature for the Fast Company Impact Council, Influencer CEO Ben Jeffries highlighted a pivotal realization for modern marketers: AI answer engines don't actually read your ads, they evaluate your proof.

"For years, TikTok told brands: 'Don't make ads. Make TikToks.' Now, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) takes that one step further: don't just make ads, make proof. In an AI-led world, the brands with the strongest evidence are the ones most likely to become part of the answer." Ben Jeffries, CEO of Influencer.
