Commercial Director

This is a perfect role for candidates with several years of senior level commercial experience, within digital media, who are looking to dive into one of the fast-emerging industries in the sector.

Influencer Marketing is not only disrupting digital media with new possibilities and a more 'human led' approach to reaching a relevant audience, but it is quickly also becoming a billion-dollar industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all commercial operations and evangelise the platform to senior stakeholders in agencies and brands.
  • Mentor the sales team and lead on all sales strategy, including setting targets for the team and analysing and identifying areas for improvement and look for opportunities to increase revenue.
  • Operate at a senior level and build partnerships with brands and agencies with long term business goals in mind, prioritising strategic partnerships/relationships.
  • Build the team up and ensure all sellers are motivated and are able to progress with the business during a critical phase of growth.

Skills We’re Looking For:

  • 5-8 years of sales experience within the Media space, ideal with content and paid social experience.
  • 3-5 years of people management experience: you’ve grown and developed a regional or global sales teams.
  • Experience bringing new products to market, opening product lines, and driving sales enablement.
  • Experience building out CRM processes.
  • Experience in high volume growth (preferably in the B2B space).
  • Understanding of what it takes to work with an early stage company.
  • Evidence of success in growing customer base from the ground up.
  • The business is looking to expand internationally and whoever embraces this role will quickly make themselves a senior stakeholder and invaluable to a fast growing business.
